CLEANLINESS & SANITATION
Regular cleanliness drives, fixing garbage issues, monitoring dumping points, and ensuring a healthy environment.
KAPA (Kharar Area Progressive Association) is a citizen-led, non-political community organisation working to improve cleanliness, infrastructure, safety and the overall quality of life across Kharar. Our mission is to bring together residents, RWAs, Panchayats, businesses and authorities to create a cleaner, safer and better city.
KAPA was formed to unite the people of Kharar under one collective platform. The city faces growing challenges such as unmanaged waste, broken roads, traffic chaos, waterlogging, and lack of coordination among authorities. Through structured teamwork, field surveys, community participation and official communication, KAPA works to highlight issues, propose solutions and push for timely action.
KAPA regularly engages with RWAs, Panchayat leaders, market associations and volunteers to understand ground problems and ensure community voices reach the right departments like MC, EO, SDM, XEN and other administrative bodies.
Our focus is on long-term, impact-driven community development. From cleanliness drives to traffic management, from infrastructure reporting to youth involvement, KAPA aims to build an organised, responsible and progressive environment for everyone in Kharar.
We believe meaningful change happens when citizens participate actively. Every member, volunteer or partner organisation plays an important role in shaping a better future for our town. KAPA invites all residents, RWAs, Panchayats and businesses to join hands and work together for a stronger and better Kharar.
We work across multiple civic and community areas to make Kharar cleaner, safer and better. These are the key areas where KAPA is actively involved.
